Sanyo’s first successor to the original Katana has been spotted in the wild by PhoneNews. The Sanyo Katana II is unique in that it is one of two successors to the original Katana – and we think we know why. The Katana II is the low-end version, while the Katana DLX pulls duty as the higher-end model.
The Katana II packs rocks has a VGA camera and a 2 inch display – but notably lacks EVDO data. Look for it to drop in about a month for $50 (with contract – $250 without) in your choice of black, pink, or silver/black.
