Apple busts out new iPhone keyboard video!

Apple’s on-screen iPhone keyboard has been getting mixed reviews – some say it’s pretty good, others say it is hard to use (although practice could make it easier to use). If you still have reservations about the Apple iPhone’s soft-keyboard, take a look at Apple’s new video demonstration of the “intelligent keyboard.”

The video shows us exactly how the auto-correction feature will work, the included English dictionary, word prediction, and the use of “tap areas” that enlarge keys that the prediction algorithm anticipates as the next likely key-stroke.

We think it will be more of a personal preference, really. The more dexterous you are, the easier it will be to get used to the keyboard – obviously. However, Walt Mosberg’s recent review of the iPhone gives us hope that the keyboard will be just as easy to use as those on his Palm Treo.
