Boy Genius got his hands on the newest, unreleased handset to roll off the Motorola factory floor. The Motorola Z9 comes to us as an early prototype from deep within Moto headquarters. We can’t tell you much, but we can tell you that this 3G phone is going to AT&T (and even sports an AT&T internet hard-key) and packs a 2 megapixel camera, Motorola Synergy OS, Live Video Share, and microSD card slot. Boy Genius is reporting that this early proto-unit has a solid feel and quality build to it, even if the keys are a bit stiff (but keep in mind that Motorola will likely be improving every aspect of this phone before it goes live).

The Moto Z9 slider is completely slick and amazing slim! The keypad has an interesting finish that ripples the reflected light – giving it a really unique look (check to pics to see what we’re talking about).

More pics on the break!
