Fujitsu RakuRaku IV easy phone makes using it easyIn an era of ever diminishing handset footprints, there are undoubtedly some people feeling a bit left out in the cold. Namely, those people looking for an easy-to-use, easy-to-read mobile phone. Fujitsu has just revealed their solution to simplifying the mobile-phone experience – the RakuRaku IV. The large 2.6 inch screen displays larger fonts, as do the big buttons – making it easier to read and interact with the phone. Noise reduction and sound leveling help to improve audio clarity and reception quality, respectively.

Mobile phone users looking for an “easy” phone don’t have to sacrifice the finer things – the RakuRaku IV rocks a camera, GPS receiver (with nav software) and an external pen scanner. The pen scanner makes text input as easy as possible – allowing the user to scan characters from an accompanying booklet.

Unfortunately, it looks like the Fujitsu RakuRaku IV will only be making the lives of Japanese citizens a little easier – we’re not expecting the RakuRaku IV to make it outside of the island nation.

    Hi,

Well I for one am gutted that this technical wonderous phone may not come to the UK. I would have one in a heartbeat.

I am a bed-bound paraplegic living in a nursing home. I am desperately trying to find a new mobile with large easy to read fonts. I am sure the mobile industry will end up with warning stickers on the phones warning about eyesight damage like cigarettes have a health warning, if they carry on like this.

Anyone tell me which mobile will be good for me???
