While we already know Sony Ericsson P1i is a much better device than its predecessor – P990i, you may want to see in pictures how they stack against each other. While the P990i is bigger and bulkier, it has a larger screen — 2.8″ vs 2.6″ of the P1i. But there’s where all the advantages of the earlier model end. The P1i has a better camera, more RAM, and is smaller – thus easier to carry around. Of course, both devices run UIQ 3 on top of Symbian OS.
If you want a Sony Ericsson smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard, my advice is not to pay less for the P990i. Get more money and grab the P1i — you won’t regret for a second!
