The “pre-Alpha” tag is off the Meebo’s iPhone site! Again, there’s no need to download any software, as Meebo works from the iPhone’s built-in Safari browser giving you ability to chat with your buddies on ICQ, MSN, Yahoo and Google Talk.

Meebo on iPhone

The team behind the most popular web-based multi-chat client wanted to optimize iPhone version to work with both WiFi and EDGE connections, hence they’ve included new features such as “smart buddy list” which moves active conversations to the top of the buddy list so you can preview messages before opening a conversation. Plus, your buddies are sorted alphabetically so it’s easier to find the contact you’re looking for!

    Hi
I’m trying to monitor my minor childs “i’m chat”–He uses Meebo. I saw the data detail records on phone bill and there are certainly missing chat balloons–within a sequential conversation. Is it possible to delete just certain balloons? Or just to clear the whole screen? And also, when on this chat app, is it real time text? Meaning if the bill item states that messages were sent and received at a certain time, is that accurate? Or can there be a several hour delay in the transmission. Pleople are not far from eachother geographically. BTY, I-phone and Att.
    Thanks
    A Worried mom
