HTC Windows Mobile 6.0 upgrades

We know, we know. The last time HTC mentioned a Windows Mobile 6.0 upgrade, they kind of flaked on us. But, this time around, we’re pretty sure they’re going to come through and actually deliver on their promise of the long-awaited WM6 upgrade on the HTC P3300 Artemis, HTC S620 Excalibur, and HTC Athena Advantage X7500. Users of the HTC TyTn are already enjoying the Windows Mobile 6.0 goodness that they deserve – if you have an HTC TyTn and you’re not rockin’ the newest WinMo OS, get yourself an HTC eClub account and download the free upgrade.

For everyone anxiously waiting to bump up their HTC P3300 Artemis, HTC S620 Excalibur, or HTC Athena Advantage X7500 to Windows Mobile 6.0 (either Professional or Standard edition, depending on the handset), you should be signing up for that HTC eClub account to be notified as soon as the WM6 upgrade becomes available.

HTC is claiming to have the free upgrades in the pipeline for an August release – hopefully for real, this time.
