GameJumpGreyStripe’s Gamejump.com has reached an important milestone these days. Apparently, there were more than 14 million free mobile gaming content downloads.

As with everything in life, nothing is free – hence the games on Gamejump.com are ad-supported, meaning that users will see an ad before and after each game. Still, if it’s not 100% free, it’s the second best thing!

At the moment, Gamejump.com features 800 games by 70 publishers acros variety of genres. Good thing to note is that some of the most popular Konami’s classics like Frogger and Dance Dance Revolution will soon hit the free gaming download service, marking the first time the big publisher has joined such service. At the same time, this could help removing the “inferior quality” label from the free games.

As for those of you who want to know how Gamejump.com is funded, its parent company Greystripe took $8.9 million in Series B funding this May, in a round led by Walt Disney Company’s Steamboat Ventures.
