Your iPhone is locked again? Maybe you’re considering some other device? Nokia perhaps? They certainly want you in their tribe… The ad above clearly targets pissed iPhone users who, after the recent update, ended up with closed devices. And while we all wait for the next hack to come out and liberate the iPhone once again, you may want to try some of the Nokia NSeries devices? Or not…

    I fail see how this “clearly targets pissed iPhone users”? Nokia’s used that line several times in their marketing images in the past. I wouldn’t put it past them to conveniently release another just after the 1.1.1 fiasco, but had the iPhone never came out, this wouldn’t be any different than any other ad Nokia’s ever shown.

    If it said, “Where’s your GPS?” or “Who needs iTunes?”, THAT would be a direct assault.
