I’ve been trying to figure it out for a long time and it looks like the folks from Crunch Gear went ahead and visited MOSH’s offices to see what’s going on. You use MOSH to share content either on the full blown desktop website or via your mobile device. My personal rule for any of these new fangled Web 2.0 services is that they have to make my life easier or at least add value to it after 1 week’s worth of usage. I can’t say MOSH did that for me, but I don’t think I’m the intended user. MOSH is great for those people new to the web on their mobile, not for people who have well established communities on Flickr, YouTube or those people who have email on their mobile device. We will have to see, it has been less than half a year since the service has launched and they already gained around 37k users.
What is Nokia planning to do with MOSH, Twango and how will their recent purchase of Enpocket and Navteq play out in their Ovi attempt at entering the service industry? I have no clue, but watching Nokia evolve is definitly fun, especially when you live in Finland and you can bug Nokia employees all day!
