Samsung E950 – the first Samsung phone to use Scalado’s imaging software; More to follow

We’ve already talked about Scalado and their image processing technology that allows fast and memory efficient image manipulation on the camera equipped mobile phones. Now, they’ve announced a major licensing agreement with Samsung, to integrate their CAPS imaging technology in a number of new Samsung handsets.

The first device that will be rolled out with Scalado based imaging applications is Samsung’s 3.2 MP camera equipped E950, due for release soon. Apparently, buyers of the mentioned device should be able to capture, edit, browse, and manipulate high-resolution images efficiently, thus experience all of the speed, performance and functionality they would expect from a high-end handset…
