Is this what Google’s mobile phone will look like – leaked pics of the gPhone?

Take a look at this smartphone from the obscure Linux smartphone manufacturer e28. New rumors peg the Chinese handset-maker as a possible partner in Google’s mobile phone venture – and e28′s experience with Linux-based, open-source smartphones gives this rumor some legs (short legs).

We’re not sure if the rumor will pan out, and we’re not even sure if this smartphone is on the level – but if things turn out to be legit, this thing had better be cheap. Sure it’s a slim smartphone, but it’s design fails to strike an emotional chord with us – not a single note.

We’ll have to wait and see if this e28 smartphone turns out to be a true GPhone. In the meantime, enjoy the possibly fake pic above.

    of course it doesn’t “strike a chord with you” – it doesn’t “rock” WM6 – LOL – what’s not to like if this is for real? big screen, super slim, probably very lightweight, most likely will be very responsive as it doesn’t “rock” WM6 (you beginning to see how stupid that phrase sounds?) – it has a full QWERTY keyboard so typing will be quick and easy – I want one
