MasterGear ported to work on Symbian UIQ3 based smartphonesFollowing iNES, Marat Fayzullin – author of the popular gaming system emulator apps, have also ported MasterGear to Symbian UIQ3 platform, allowing Sony Ericsson and Motorola Z8 smartphone owners to revive the old memories while on-the-go. MasterGear for UIQ (and for S60 for that matter) will run SEGA Master System, GameGear, and SG1000 cartridge files (.sms, .sms.gz, .gg, .gg.gz, .sg, and .sg.gz extensions) placed in the “E:\Others\MG” folder.

Again, just like with the iNES, Marat was only able to test MasterGear on Motorola Z8, but according to him it should work just fine with Sony Ericsson smartphones as well… You can trial MasterGear for free or buy the full version for $14.99! Nothing beats the original Sonic…
