Brief: Nokia makes deal with WiFi provider The Cloud to offer free access to Music Store

Nokia signed a deal with a WiFi provider known as The Cloud, if you’ve ever been in airport surely you’ve heard of them, that will give users of the Nokia Music Store access to the service. My only question is why not give them free internet too? Brand it as “Comes with internet.”

Apple has Starbucks, Nokia has The Cloud.

Update: I’ve been schooled. The iPhone as of firmware 1.1.2 in the UK has access to “The Cloud” as well. Will wrote about that here. What can I say, I don’t care about the iPhone.

The price of Nokia phones alone should justify giving us free internet.

Apple has been offering “free” The Cloud Wi-Fi use for all iPhone users in the U.K. since the beginning of November!

Sounds like you’re not up on your Apple news.

  • Stefan Constantinescu

    You’re right. I don’t follow Apple news.
