Guitar Hero Mobile on Verizon WirelessThere’s almost nothing as addictive as Guitar Hero III. We’ve been caught holding up the lines at Best Buy, making those poor little kids wait for us to finish the final riff on “Sweet Child O’ Mine.” Our refusal to buy it for home-use is testament to this little game’s potential to seriously hurt productivity (but we’re still secretly hoping for a Guitar Hero controller in our stocking next week).

Well, fellow GHIII addicts will be happy to hear that Verizon Wireless has launched their Guitar Hero III Mobile game for all Verizon phones. As any good addiction should do, this one will do a bit of damage to your wallet – $4.99 per month or $11.99 for unlimited use.

Of course, we’re also addicted to TTR (Tap Tap Revolution) on the iPhone. It’s touchscreen-based (capacitance, of course – none of that pressure-based stuff here) so you won’t have to worry about messing with impossibly small keypad-keys. If for nothing else, GHIII fans might want to consider grabbing an iPhone and loading up TTR – it’s free (the application, not the iPhone, silly) and it’s way addictive. Do you have the dexterity skills? Bring it on.
