Belkin announces TuneCast Auto and two iPhone cases

If you wanted to listen music from your iPhone while driving but just couldn’t do it, Belkin’s thinking about you. Their newly announced TuneBase FM and TuneBase Auto are made to allow users to stream/transmit music from their iPhones/iPods to the local FM frequency so they could listen to it on their car audio system. Both devices are easy to use, and with a single push of a button they will automatically seek out the best FM frequency to play the music from your iPhone or iPod. The first mentioned version — TuneBase FM — also mounts and powers your iPhone or iPod in the car.

TuneBase FM will hit the stores in April this year and will retail for $99.99. On the other hand, TuneCast Auto — the one that also charges your iPhone/iPod — starts selling next month in all global regions for $79.99.

In the other news, Belkin revealed two new iPhone cases – Formed Leather with Removable Belt Clip and Micro Grip Case, as well as the Sport Armband Plus with FastFit System. The cases are already available and are currently selling for $29.99 and $24.99 respectively, while the armband is coming in the fall of 2008 and once hit the stores, you’ll be able to grab it for $29.99.

Official Belkin releases are available from here (TuneCast) and here (cases and an armband).
