Windows Mobile 6.1Word on the street has it that the upcoming revision to the Windows Mobile 6.0 platform could go live on February 11. The thinking is that Microsoft unleashed Windows Mobile 6.0 on us at 3GSM in Barcelona last year, and they could very well launch their updated Windows Mobile 6.1 OS at Mobile World Congress (renamed from 3GSM) on February 11 in Barcelona, Spain.

Msmobiles suggests that the WinMo6.1 launch could happen during Microsoft’s press event, scheduled for 15:00-16:00 on Feb. 11 (that’s 12 noon PST for us west-coasters).

We’ll be there, covering the press event live. Stay tuned!
