Call me crazy if you want, but I haven’t envisioned AT&T will be offering Palm smartphones with their “Pay As You Go” plans like ever. Apparently, I was wrong as the carrier is now selling the Windows Mobile powered Palm Treo 750 as a GoPhone. It’s the refurbished version, but still — we got used to see the mobile operators (not just AT&T) offering low-end devices with their pay as you go plans.
Anyway, for $269.99 — after a $100 refurb discount — you’ll get a powerful, full QWERTY keyboard equipped sidekick to follow you wherever you go. The price is still steep and I would argue you should add a (few) hundred bucks more and get a new device, but if you’re on a budget this may be the thing you’ve been waiting for… Here’s the link to the AT&T’s page with more information.
