Martin Sauter started a wiki a while back for the upcoming Mobile World Congress. One page has a list of some of the parties and events taking place. I’m registered for the Mobile Jam Session which looks to be an interesting get together of technical minded people and one of the things I couldn’t help but notice was that Dell will be in attendance, they’re listed under “Dell Mobile.”

Are they supplying laptops or doing actual research into mobile applications for a device they could be releasing in the future?

I might be looking too much into this. Speaking about parties, where is our invite Sony Ericsson? Nokia?
