Samsung’s latest device, to be displayed at the Mobile World Congress no doubt, is called “Soul”. It has a 5 megapixel camera, a pseudo touch screen that is basically a dpad with buttons that change depending on which application you’re using, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, 2.2 inch 320×240 screen with 16 million colors and it is less than 13 mm thick. Sadly it is a feature phone. No word on price, supposed to come out in April.

Not too keen on the name. It isn’t bad, but it isn’t good either. Ultra high resolution photo gallery here.

There is nothing called 7.2 MBps HSDPA, it’s called HSUPA a.k.a 3.75G.

Cool device, though they should release an S60 version of it.

hsupa is about upload, not download.

    High-Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA):

hsdpa however is about download speed and it can go as high as 14.4 Mbps, but that isn’t out yet:

i like the brushed alu look, i just don’t think i’ll find it useful seeing as it runs a feature phone OS.
