PocketGamer interviewed Jaakko Kaidesoja, Head of New Experience, Nokia Play, and scored some juicy information. By the middle of this year he expects 20-30 NGage games to be launched, 50-60 by the end of the year. The actual NGage platform will be launched officially in a few weeks, currently it is only available for the Nokia N81. The NGage team is trying hard, really hard, to get a type of MMO (massive multiplayer online) game out to market this year. A feature of Creebies is the ability to send your character to other people’s devices and as a former Tamagotchi-holic I’m looking forward to that.

I dont bother anymore with those estimated times. I’ll belive it when i can play those games in my N95 8GB.

It’s a difficult balance for him, but as a N95 owner, I want games that take full advantage of the 3D HW acceleration in my phone, I don’t want the rubbish on the N-Gage demos – and definitely not for £5.
