If the ad above proves to be legit, Alltel will be rolling out the new LG Glimmer in the near future. The new phone has design elements from two other LG models, Shine and Viewty, and will probably be one of the prettiest phones in Alltel’s portfolio. As for the specs, there’s a 2.8″ capacitive touchscreen, numeric slider, 2 megapixel camera with flash light, EV-DO, Bluetooth and microSD slot. Sounds cool, especially for Alltel which is usually among the last carriers to get the cool phones. Let’s hope we won’t have to wait an eternity to see the Glimmer out.
