Nokia 3555

I’m not sure there’s a single person excited about Nokia’s upcoming 3555 clamshell phone, but it’s a news and we’re running it nevertheless.

Apparently, T-Mobile will be launching Nokia’s recently approved by the FCC, low-end 3G phone on March 17th. There’s nothing special about it — aside from the built-in 3G radio, the Nokia 3555 features T-Mobile’s myFaves support, stereo Bluetooth, speakerphone, VGA cam, and of course the microSD memory slot. On the other hand, it’s fair to argue that’s as good as it gets for a phone that will most likely be very affordable or even free with an appropriate plan.

I hope T-Mobile turns on their AWS/3G network soon. And if a rumor I read a while ago stands true, the Nokia E51 will appear in a T-Mobile AWS version !! (maybe the non-releases E71 as well ?!)
