Alltel goes unlimited too; Still preffers to sell you MyCircle plans

AlltelLet me tell you one thing – Alltel is one strange company. They’ve just rolled out their unlimited offering yet you can’t find a word about it on their homepage. Scrap that, there’s no press release in their media zone. Why is that is beyond me. Are they trying really hard to hook you up with their MyCircle plans? Apparently it’s good enough for Alltel if you have up to 20 friends whom you could call really cheaply. But if you travel often and have more than “Alltel’s patented maximum number of friends,” you’ll have to dig deeper through the “depths of their website” and eventually opt-in for the $99.99 National Freedom Unlimited plan. Now that I’m thinking, I don’t understand why they launched this plan, except to say “Yeah, we’re in the game too.” Weird…
