EmporiaLife phone for senior citizens approved by FCC

EmporiaLife phone for senior citizens approved by FCCHere’s something for our readers who may have searched for the perfect phone for their elderly parents. The “made for senior citizens” EmporiaLife phone has been spotted passing the FCC hurdle. As you can see from the image on the left, the device looks quite simple. Large, hard-to-miss buttons and big monochrome screen are there and so is the quick access to contacts. In addition, this fairly ugly handset also features dedicated alarm clock, lock key option, and a large red button on the back for making emergency calls.

Two dual-band GSM versions will be available (900/1800 and 850/1900 MHz), hence it will work on some U.S. networks (T-Mobile, AT&T). Standard AAA batteries will be used as a power source… Not a single mobile operator said they will carry the EmporiaLife, but even unlocked, it shouldn’t cost much.
