John MayerThere’s just something about superstar recording artists/songwriters that make them attractive first-run candidates to get their hands on unreleased mobile phones and other mobile gadgets. John Mayer is definitely a superstar and he definitely gets his hands on all the coolest gear before any of us mere mortals.

So, it’s not all that surprising that he posted pictures of his brand new factory-blessed BlackBerry 9000 Bold on his blog. John is apparently impressed with not only the high-resolution display, but also the fonts that RIM decided to use on the BlackBerry Bold. Font-type is a bit of a strange critique-point, but John proclaims himself a font-whore, so we’ll let him slide on that one.

I’m not interested in crackberries, but i have to say the have come leaps and bounds in such a short time, and the Bold is a beautiful culmination of all their effort.

I really like it from an aesthetic point of veiw, both hardware and UI.

I really like the new bold but being a iphone user i really dislike how small the screen is and a touch screen would have been A lot better. Not sure if its worth the price compared to the iphone but its definetly advanced and very sexy looking.
