Samsung’s new push to take the Soul lineup to new heights has seen a few handsets with varied form-factors proudly sporting the Samsung “Soul” branding. The newest Samsung monoblock (candybar) mobile phone to be inducted into the “Soul” lineup is the Samsung SGH-U800. Samsung has branded the U800 as the Samsung Soulb.
With quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM, UMTS, 3.2 megapixel camera, FM radio with RDS, 1GB internal memory, microSD card slot, and Bluetooth 2.0 packed in to an amazingly thin 9.8mm thin package, the Samsung U800 Soulb is definitely worthy of the “Soul” branding that was befitting the first Samsung Soul.
Confused as to how to pronounce the new Samsung Soulb’s moniker? So are we. “Soulbee?” Perhaps.
Look for the Samsung U800 Soulb to launch in your choice of Soul Grey, Platinum Silver, Metallic Black, Soul Pink and Amethyst Violet for an as yet unknown price. Germany gets first pick in early June, and countries in Europe, Asia, Middle East, and South America will follow after that. Those of us in the US are out of luck…again.
