Sprint’s been fooling around with their femto-cell offering for some time now, and we’re hearing that the No. 3 US carrier will be rolling out nationwide sales of the Airave signal booster on July 15. And to boost the credibility of Airave-sales rumors, the Airave has reportedly been spotted in the wild with retail packaging.
With Sprint’s Airave hardware and a broadband internet connection, Sprint users left wanting for significant signal strength can use their pico-cell to route their Sprint phone’s calls over VoIP.
