You know you can play NES games on your jailbroken iPhone, right? The famous NES.app has been recently updated to add accelerometer support in the mix, allowing you to go beyond virtual on-screen buttons.

iPhone NES emulatorNow, I’m not sure how that will help Mario score more points, but I can clearly see the benefits of using an accelerometer in racing games. Then again, I may be wrong and all we need is to change a perspective a bit — once you get used to moving your iPhone around to play the game, things should get easier, I guess.

Anyway, NES.app 2.3.0 is already available in Cydia. More information can be found on the official website.
