Motorola announces three new ROKR phones - EM25, EM28 and EM30

Yesterday, Motorola announced three new RORK music-centric phones, each one sporting a different form factor. Let’s briefly go through each one of the devices announced:

  • EM25 – slider form factor, 1.8-inch 128×160 65k TFT screen, 1.3 megapixel camera.
  • EM28 – clamshell with two screens (external: 1.2-inch 96×80 black and white matrix CLI; internal: 1.8-inch 128×160 65k TFT), 1.3 megapixel camera.
  • EM30 – features ModeShift technology to illuminate the keyboard – red keys illuminate in music mode and a brilliant blue keypad appears in phone mode. There’s also a 2 megapixel camera on board.

All three devices come with a standard 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio with RDS, dedicated music keys, stereo Bluetooth support (A2DP), microSD expansion slot, and of course a music player application.
