Motorola ROKR E8Sure you can grab the Motorola ROKR E8 through Best Buy in Canada, but that doesn’t stop the country’s leading mobile operator, Rogers Wireless, to officially announce the device. That’s exactly what they did, and now Canadians can grab the dual-mode ROKR E8 for CA$99 on an always-too-long 3-year plan.

As for the device itself, we’ve already covered it in the past. I’ll just repeat that the ROKR E8 features the the award-winning “ModeShift” technology that transforms it from a phone to music player to mobile camera with the touch of a button. Then there’s an iPod-like “FastScroll” navigation wheel for browsing through your music collection, 2-inch QVGA screen, Bluetooth, FM Radio, 2GB of internal memory and a microSD expansion slot.

Commenting on the announcement, Rogers Wireless’ John Boynton said: “With its smooth and seamless design and integrated music features, Rogers customers will be able to rock out in style.”
