Rogers to offer BlackBerry Kickstart 8220 for CA$149 on a 3-year CA$35 a month plan?

We’re not sure what to believe now. Earlier this month, we caught the news Rogers will be offering the BlackBerry Kickstart 8220 for $99. Furthermore, the Canada-based mobile operator was thinking to further drop the price to only $49 for students who commit on the CA$49.99 a month plan for three years.

Now we have another story involving the same BlackBerry clamshell, arguing Rogers Wireless will sell the smartphone for CA$149 on a 3-year CA$35 a month plan. The ad above looks legit, but still it goes against what we knew earlier. Guess we’ll have to wait for Rogers’ official release. Stay tuned in the meantime…
