Motorola Renegade V950Sprint has added a new Nextel Direct Connect phone – the Motorola Renegade V950. The Moto-made clamshell, while not particularly beautiful, is slim and built to Military specifications 810F for dust, shock, vibration and blowing rain.

Other specs include push-to-talk support, 3G, 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth. As for the services supported, potential Renegade V950 users can count on Sprint Music Store, Sprint Radio, Sprint TV, Sprint Mobile Sync, Mobile Email and Instant Messaging.

In a nutshell, the Motorola Renegade V950 isn’t a device for everyone. Rather it’s a phone for those that really require a tough handset to use it under all conditions. Sprint is selling the device for $129.99 with a two-year agreement and with a $50 mail-in-rebate.
