We love unlocked devices as opposed to contracts. That’s why we’re glad to report Best Buy will sell the HTC Touch Diamond unlocked. The bad news, though, is that the price is too steep for our taste. The retail giant asks 700 bucks (yes, that’s seven hundred U.S. dollars) for the device. Now that’s too expensive in my any book. Sure it’s a pre-order price for those that really badly want HTC’s all-touchscreen wonder, but what the heck. I would add $100-150 everyday for the Touch Pro. Guess the price will go down once the Diamond hits the stock…
Best Buy is also known to sell the Samsung Instinct and used to sell (I’m not sure whether that’s still available) the HTC Touch Dual.
