Truveo has launched a public beta of its new mobile video search site to “make it easy for users to find and view videos from across the web on popular mobile phones.”
Users with compatible, RTSP-enabled (Real Time Streaming Protocol) phones can access the Truveo Mobile Video Search beta site by going to wap.aol.com/truveo. With this move, Truveo joins AOL’s suite of popular mobile products including Mobile AIM, AOL Mobile Search, AOL Mail and the AOL.com mobile portal.
From the new mobile website, they [users] can search and browse through millions of videos on more than 300 websites whose content has been optimized for mobile devices. Search results can be easily sorted by popularity, ranking, or date to quickly find compelling content…
Earlier this year, Truveo has launched its application for the iPhone/iPod Touch users.
