Sort of.

Apparently PNY technologies (those guys that do all the memory cards) have introduced a MicroSD card that now lets people choose from an entire catalogue of EA mobile games. Whether it’s FIFA08 or The Sims2, the game can be chosen for free, but you will have to pay for the card. You then you have to type in an access code from the packaging before downloading the game (via WAP) to your handset.

So that is to say, you get the benefit of being able to download one “free” game, after you buy a somewhat-unrelated memory card – not all cool as being able to select a game from a menu on the memory card, but that would be technologically challenging, as it would mean producing a card for each handset variant.

Well, anyhow, the 1GB card costs £9.99 and can be bought from PC World/Currys, and the 2GB version is £14.98.
