New pricing details are coming out today on the HTC G1. Word is that the device will sell for $200 with a new contract. No word if any rebates or other discounts will be available. The G1 will, as I’m sure you know… run on Google’s new Android platform.

For me, the price sounds right. It looks like one heck of a sweet device. I’m simply curious to know what the term of the contract would be, and would actually like to know what the out-of-contract price would be. You never know, I might want to add this one to my growing collection :)

What do you think? Is $200 too much to ask? I don’t think so!
