UK: Online Bingo on your Moby?

Well we know that major trends on the InterWeb are gaming and gambling, so lets mash the two together, throw in a Mobile device, and all start playing…… er …… Bingo.

Apparently some of the larger operators in the UK are getting in to this big time, allowing players to actually go in-game, as opposed to just booking ahead for a venue via their Mobile.

It’s a puzzler to me, because the demographic associated with hi-speed Mobile Interweb access isn’t one that I’d usually associate with Bingo-playing. However, as the recent UK TV ads for BIngo seem to suggest, it’s now a game for the young and hip. Wow, never have I felt so out there is the wasteland of ages, somewhere between bingo-playing teen, and “bingo-winged” more mature person…. 😉
