Samsung has announced a new phone for pre-teens called Tobi S3030. As you can see from the image above, the colorful device looks cute and is available in a number of colors — including Sweet Pink, Bright Orange, Loyal Blue, Oasis Blue, Apple Green and Snow Silver. In addition, backside covers are interchangeable, allowing kids and their parents to further customize the Tobi.

As for the materials being used, Samsung said the S3030 is made out of “eco-friendly and non-toxic materials.”

Rest of the specs include a tri-band GSM/GPRS (900/1800/1900 MHz) radio, 1.9-inch 65k-color 176×144 pixels screen, 1.3 megapixel camera, music player, Bluetooth support, 15MB of internal memory that is further expandable with microSD memory cards. The Samsung Tobi S3030 measures 94.7×45.4×17.5 mm and has a weight of 85 grams.

The Korean giant will starting selling the Tobi this month in Italy and the UK with other European markets, CIS and China to get the device in the near future. Price is unknown at this stage.
