In a note sent out to developers in the iPhone Developer Program, Apple has alerted developers to an impending hold to be placed on the iTunes Connect service. Looks like iTunes Connect will be down from Christmas Eve through December 27th.

The email read:

Dear iPhone Developer,

iTunes Connect, the tool you use to manage your applications and access your reports, will be unavailable from December 24 through December 27, 2008.
Access to iTunes Connect is scheduled to resume on Sunday, December 28.
Best regards,

iPhone Developer Program

I know if I was developing apps for the iPhone, tracking and managing daily stats, downloads and sales would be a daily routine/habit/problem. I could see myself being a little peeved about this… But hey, nothing wrong with a rest from time to time. Always look at the positive!
