Skyfire mobile browser adds support for VGA screens

I’m not sure was this included in the latest beta version of Skyfire, which was recently released for the whole world and not just certain geographic areas (i.e. U.S. and Canada), but it’s worth mentioning nonetheless. Skyfire now works with VGA screen devices, too! We’re talking about Windows Mobile powered smartphones and guessing the HTC Advantage, HTC Touch Diamond and Touch Pro users are rejoicing as they read this. After all, no other mobile browser can come even close to Skyfire’s media streaming capabilities. Not to mention Skyfire ability to handle Java and Javascript.

Anyway, those with HTC Touch HD and Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 still have to wait for the WVGA screen support. In the meantime, they can always rely on Opera. It does the job just fine in most cases…
