Natural Year Phone concept is designed to dispose itself after 2 years

We’re all “going green” these days as it’s the only way to sustain our planet. Moreover, I guess we’re all aware that in that sense something’s gotta give in order to make the world a better place. However, there are some limits.

Take the Natural Year Phone concept pictured above. Sure it will dispose itself after 2 years of use, but can you imaging actually putting “that thing” in your pocket. For one thing, it looks so flammable. I’m not sure what Je-Hyun Kim (designer of this handset) was smoking thinking, but I’m all against going this far. Can we at least make the materials look more non-natural, i.e. smooth?
