Mobinnova ICE looks interesting; Sony Ericsson may be onto something?

Mobinnova has unveiled its first branded Windows Mobile smartphone – or at least I’m not aware of any other phone wearing Mobinnova brand. The so called Mobinnova ICE isn’t exactly the HTC Touch Diamond killer, but it has decent specs, nonetheless. Among other things, we find 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen, 3 megapixel camera, WiFi and HSDPA support.

Why is this important? Well, remember our story from yesterday that Sony Ericsson decided to dump HTC for Mobinnova for its future Windows Mobile smartphones. Well, the ICE proves these guys know their thing and we hope to see the next Xperia being unveiled sooner rather than later. Again, this is not to say we have any inside information, unfortunately. Stay tuned in the meantime…
