According to Mobile Today, the new group CEO Vittorio Colao is expected to start fulfilling his promise to save £1bn. This could involved job cuts, and could also affect the technology and supply-chain depts.
The costliest of the Vodafone OpCos are apparently Italy, Spain, and the UK – so you can expect he will be taking a close look at those – plus some others I’d expect, if he is going to ground out £1bn of savings….
