Fans of VZ Navigator will be pleased to know that the GPS utility is coming to another device on the Verizon lineup. This time around, a global edition of VZ Navigator is due to hit the BlackBerry Storm sometime during Q1 of this year. If you want to get on the VZ Navigator when it becomes available for the Storm, it’ll run you around $20 per month. Supported countries during the first phase of rollout are to include Canada, France, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the UK. A second phase is to proceed during Q2 of 2009, and should include Austria and Belgium among other countries.

If you’re unfamiliar with VZ Navigator, in essence it’s a GPS navigation software that turns your device into a handheld GPS unit. To track locations it currently uses a combination of GPS and cell tower tracking. So, if you ever need directions, get lost, or whatever… VZ Navigator is one option out there to get you back on track!

I’m sure we’ll have more on this as more news becomes available.
