
At the beginning of this month, we spotted the Huawei UMG181 USB modem passing the FCC hurdle. Now, the first T-Mobile USA’s 3G modem has been spotted in flesh, prior to official release. Folks of CellPhoneSignal got a chance to play with it — or at least to take some photos — before anyone else. As a result, we compiled a picture above, to show you what’s about to hit T-Mobile’s offering.
Apparently, starting from next month, you’ll be able to buy mobile broadband service from the Deutsche Telekom owned mobile operator and get the Huawei UMG181 USB modem as part of the deal. No information on pricing is known at this stage, but I guess we’ll have more answers within few weeks or so. Stay tuned…
