Quality case!
Those of you that read IntoMobile regularly will know that I’ve had trials and tribulations with cases for the iPhone. I’ve been through solid cases, pouches, display protectors, and frankly – they all make the iPhone look terrible – the operator-approved case even scratched my iPhone!!
So it was with great trepidation that I ordered what is reputed to be one of the best cases for the iPhone – certainly if user reviews are anything to go by. The Sena Ultraslim case is a leather-outer and velvet-inner case, which in my case was in black – but which you can get in red or white.
The iPhone 3G slides in and out snugly at first, but this soon becomes a much more flexible fit – something that would tie in with how leather gives over time. The quality of the case is great, and for £25-30 it should be!
Note: just to clarify, I wanted a slip case because I usually use the device out of case, but on odd occasions when I need to transport it not in my pocket, then it requires a case.
So this is a simple review too, since there isn’t too much in terms of performance that we need to take in to account – the case looks good, works well, and is a little bit expensive I think – but as we know, all Apple products, and related products (of which this is one) tend to be on the cost-up side!
You can get the Sena Ultraslim case for iPhone 3G (in the UK) from Apple’s site here.
Ben is a 10+ year veteran of the Mobile industry – starting his career
when SMS was a still a relatively new concept for most people (!), he has
now consulted on everything from bleeding-edge Mobile content, to the
next-gen accessories you might view it on. As a result he has a broad and deep knowledge in numerous areas of Mobile – from network operators to device vendors, to infrastructure and middleware vendors (not to mention content delivery) – and has worked for companies in all of these areas!
He is based in the UK, a hotbed of activity for mobile, and recently
became a father for the second time – as oppose to in his younger years
when he was happy spend time tweaking all manner of mobile devices to
'nth' degree, he now looks for services and hardware that provide the most efficient, compact, and reliable improvements to his already manic life! It’s his opinion that Mobile solutions should be there to help to make
your life better – if a particular solution (be it service or device)
isn’t doing this, he believes you need to ask the very important question
of why you continue to use it...
His focus at IntoMobile is mainly on Mobile content, services, and
infrastructure, particularly as regards the UK market – and with the
occasional look at devices. Additionally, using his extensive experience
in the industry, he will provide commentary on the industry at large, with
regular (and hopefully thought-provoking) articles.
