As T-Mobile gears up to bring the 8-megapixel Samsung Memoir cameraphone to its burgeoning 3G network, we’re bound to see the Samsung Memoir (aka Leica) popping up around the web. We’ve seen the Samsung Memoir hanging out in-the-wild, but today we get our first up-close look at the 8-megapixel cameraphone. A new T-Mobile internal flier shows off the T-Mobile Samsung Memoir’s rounded edges and large touchscreen display.

We’re only shown the top-half of the T-Mobile Samsung Memoir, but it’s enough to confirm that the high-end cameraphone will be making good use of Samsung’s TouchWiz UI. The Samsung Memoir sports an 8 megapixel camera backed up with optical auto-focus and flash, making for a solid cameraphone that could give your stand-alone digital camera a run for its money. And, with 3G data compatibility on T-Mobile’s 1700Mhz 3G network, the Samsung Memoir should redefine T-Mobile’s cameraphone lineup come February 18.

We’re sure to see more of the Samsung Memoir as we edge closer to T-Mobile’s expected launch window.
