mf-logoMobileFun.co.uk is a great website for buying SIM-free handsets (certainly in the UK anyway) – over the years I’ve had 3 or 4 handsets from them, and I’ve always found them to be excellent in terms of their promptness of delivery, customer service, and price! So it was with great joy that I received a message from them saying they had updated their site.

The site is now wrapped in a black and lime green colour scheme, which as we know from some notable handset designs (I am thinking Moto Z8), can look really nice. The guys at MobileFun say:

A New Look At Mobile Fun

This is just a quick note to say we have finally done it!
After years of the yellow and blue, it has finally gone! We have replaced it with a much sharper design with improved navigation, mucher crisper colours and overall a much more modern look.

Why did we do it? If we don’t improve then we fall behind. You have been telling us for a while that we need to improve our look and we know that it’s essential to regularly improve our navigation, layout and ease-of-use to keep you happy and keep you coming back for more…

Anyway we have done it and we would love your feedback so don’t be shy, let us know what you think! Just go to our site and click on the brown feedback tab in the bottom right hand corner of the browser.

I think the site does benefit from the colour scheme change – definitely more professional-looking. One thing’s to say for sure – if you are on the lookout for a SIM-free handset, at a good price, and want to browse an easy-to-use site – I can heartily recommend you take a look! They’ve also been doing some nifty price comparisons of late, and they do seem to be coming in cheaper than other retailers – in the pressing economic times we live in, that’s gotta be a good thing!
