French mobile customers top 58 million…

french-flagRAPIDTVNews is reporting that according to telco regulator Arcep, there were 58 million customers in France! Wowzer!

For those of you that get just a little over-excited at stats (you know who you are, you are getting ever-so-slightly moist at the impending stat attack!), penetration (!) has risen from about 88% to just a shade of 91%. MVNO customers (summed across all Operators offering the capability) grew to just over 5 percent.

Gotta love those stats!
